Originally from Africa, this yellow fleshed watermelon boast a very high sugar content. A favorite here on the farm.

Direct sow after last frost in hills of 4 seeds spaced 3 feet apart. Give them plenty of room as they will sprawl at least 10 feet in every direction.
This is a very productive variety that produces heavily until killed by fall freeze. Try making watermelon popcicles or watermelon juice to save the bounty.
